Top-ups
Sonket runs on a prepaid balance. A top-up buys credit that is spent per post read, at the rates on the pricing page. Credit never expires.
If you top up and change your mind, ask within 14 days of the payment and, as long as none of that top-up has been spent, we refund it in full to the payment method you used. Your balance goes down by the same amount.
Once any of a top-up has been spent on reads, the rest stays as credit and is not refunded, except where the law where you live requires it. Reads are paid to the platforms as they happen, which is why the line is drawn at first use. Credit left on an account you delete is not refunded either, unless it falls inside the 14 day rule above.
The bring-your-own-keys add-on
The add-on lets you run your watches on your own X, YouTube or model keys. A purchase is refunded in full if you ask within 14 days of paying and no read has yet been made on your own keys. After that the purchase is not refunded.
Today a purchase covers 30 days and does not renew by itself. If the add-on becomes a renewing subscription, you will be able to cancel at any time from Settings, the cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period, and a renewal charged within the last 14 days and not yet used is refunded on request.
Billing errors
If we charged you twice, charged the wrong amount, credited less than you paid, or charged reads that our own logs show never happened, tell us and we correct it in full, as a refund or as credit, whichever you prefer. There is no time limit on this.
How to ask
Email [email protected] from the address on your account with the payment reference: the receipt from your card provider, or the transaction hash for a crypto payment. We answer within one business day. A refund goes back to the method you paid with. Card, Google Pay and Apple Pay refunds usually land within five to ten business days; crypto refunds are sent in the same asset to the address you give us, less the network fee.
If you are unhappy with a charge, please write to us before opening a dispute with your card provider. A refund from us is faster than a chargeback, and a chargeback on a charge we would have refunded anyway can lead us to close the account.
Who processes payments
Card, Google Pay and Apple Pay payments are handled by Creem, the trading name of Armitage Labs OÜ, registered in Estonia, acting as merchant of record. It is the seller on your receipt, its checkout terms apply alongside this policy, and a refund we approve is paid out through it, back to the card you paid with. Crypto payments (Binance Pay, USDT, TRX) are made directly to us and refunded directly by us.
Your legal rights
Nothing in this policy takes away rights that the consumer law where you live gives you. If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, you have a 14 day right to withdraw from a purchase of digital content; by starting to use a top-up or the add-on before those 14 days are over, you agree that the service starts at once and that the right ends for the part you have used. Where a law gives you more than this policy does, the law wins.
